Mommy and Me

Harleigh is having some separation anxiety and has been clingy lately. Only to mom though (sorry, Zak), she wants to be held all the time. I hope this passes soon, between breasting and carrying kids, my back is killing me.

Beach Trip 2012- May

We've been enjoying our family trips to the beach this year. Harleigh absolutely loves the ocean and sand. Here are a few pictures from our trip to North Myrtle in May. Family vacations are so much fun!

Week 13- Lawson

This has been a pretty eventful week for my 3 month old. Lawson has started rolling to his sides from his back (sometimes he'll roll to his tummy, but scares himself and will start to cry). He's also started to laugh more this week.  Mommy can back funny faces or noises and Lawson will start to chuckle.  It's not "giggly", is more of a laugh. As always, this has distrupted his sleep so he's been up once a night for the past 2-3 nights after sleeping through the night 2-3 nights in a row!

A Couple That....

dresses alike together, stays together.  I'm not sure everyone knows, but Zak LOVES to have matching outfits with me. He wants our family to have coordinating outfits because he thinks it's "cool". I will sometimes give in and coordinate outfits and it really makes Zak's day.  My sister saw this and sent it, I guess my hubby's onto something:

Welcome Isla Rae Bradbury

Today (June 4th, 2012), Isla Rae Bradbury was born to Joel and Cassie Bradbury.  She weighs 8lbs 3oz, and from what I hear has a head full of hair.  Welcome to the world, Isla! I know your cousins Harleigh and Lawson can't wait to play with you!

We had a wonderful time and look forward to many more family trips to the beach.

Just like Daddy

On Tuesday, Lawson was 3 months old! He is a pretty laid back, chill baby and doesn't get too upset unless he gets accidently hit (by his sister who is still learning how to be "gentle"), when he needs a diaper change, is hungry, or tired. Based on his calm demeanor I think he'll be more like his daddy.

Lawson updates, accomplishments:
- eats between 3-7 oz per feeding, usually the larger feeding in the morning
-sleeps at 9:30am, 12:30pm, 4:30pm, and depending on how he did he may take a quick cat nap around 6pm before bedtime at 7:30pm.
-typically wakes up once at night for a diaper change or snack
-rolls to his sides
-went to physical therapy this month and working on neck exercises to help with the shape of his head-torticollis (needs to stretch and strengthen the right neck muscles)
-loves to chat with mom, dad, and big sister
-started "daycare" with Miss Kristine at the Kamm house and is enjoying having "boy time" with big cousin Landon, and cousin Brooks.

He's continuing to grow and looks like he'll be a big guy, tall like his dad. We love you "Lawsy" and look forward to seeing how you grow and develop during month 4!
