Beach Trip April 2012

Our family and the Dean's went to the beach at the end of April to see how the kiddos would do and enjoy some of the early summer weather we were getting.  Here are a few pictures of the trip, more to come:

Week 8- smiling more and more, grasping
Week 9-rolling to his side, mini-conversations (he listens as I talk and babbles a response)
Week 10- more alert and pretty laid back, continuing to improve his sight and hand eye coordination

Lawson loves attention (especially from mommy), he's pretty happy unless he's hungry, tired, or needs a change. He usually goes through a fussy spell around 8pm and it will last from 30min-1hr. He hates tummy time. Lawson also enjoys being held by his big sister.

We went to the doctor last week and he weighs 13lbs 15.5oz (90%), is 24 in long (86%), 16 1/4 head width(98%).

We were giving Harleigh lunch this weekend and Zak asked Harleigh if she washed her hands.

Her response was, "Yes". (However she was still in her highchair, her hands were filthy, and there was no napkin in sight.

He corrected her saying, "No, you didn't. Tell the truth, we don't want to raise a liar."

To which Harleigh replied "Lions, rawwrrrr". 

We couldn't help but laugh.

Easter Part 2- Egg Decorating

What would Easter be without decorated eggs?  Landon and Harleigh got to decorate 2 dozen eggs.  As you can tell, the green and blue were their favorite colors.  They would dip the eggs  in each color, they all looked very similar.  It was an afternoon of fun and squeals coming from the kitchen!

After cleaning the table, Landon got to clean the floors, dishes, bathrooms, and made all the beds! J/K- Child Services do not come after me :)
