Pictures of my two kids a year ago. Harleigh's hair is so short and her face was so baby-like. Lawson, hmm, he was the size of a lemon and likely looked a bit alien-ish (a very cute alien I'm sure :)).
This our way to share what is going on in our life to all of our family, friends, and of course hundreds/millions of fans!

To my BFF...
I've not done a great job giving credit to my hubby lately. He is a superstar hubby, comic, hands-on daddy (he takes the night shift!), provider, spiritual leader, (super)model in our home. He drove 99% of the way to and from Maine last month, kept his cool with a teething 5 month old and rambunctious 2 yr old. Below are some pictures of my BFF from that trip.

Mother's Day in Pictures- 2012
This year was a fun Mother's Day for me- celebrating with my family of FOUR! It still is funny for me to say "four". May is a pretty crazy month between my birthday and Mother's Day. Zak, Harleigh, and Lawson stepped up to the plate and I had a great day. First, the best gift I could have asked for was a full night's sleep, Zak took over the nighttime reigns that he does so often and let me sleep through the night! We had breakfast at our family favorite- Skillets, complete with mommy's fave drink, a Latte! Went to church and the greenway and had a pretty relaxed day. Below are some pictures of Mom and The Krazy Kamm Kids!

Lions- Rawrrrr...
We were giving Harleigh lunch this weekend and Zak asked Harleigh if she washed her hands.
Her response was, "Yes". (However she was still in her highchair, her hands were filthy, and there was no napkin in sight.
He corrected her saying, "No, you didn't. Tell the truth, we don't want to raise a liar."
To which Harleigh replied "Lions, rawwrrrr".
We couldn't help but laugh.

Congratulations Zak!
Today, I'm posting twice because I just got a call from Zak that he passed his national test for being a Loan Officer. I'm so proud of him! He's been studying for this for a few months and has had a few bumps along the way. This is a test he needed to pass in order to be licensed and do loans. I'm so proud of you, Zak!!! Harleigh said you can have Skittles and Stickers with her tonight in celebration! :)

"Daddy, SLEEP"
For about 4 months now, Harleigh loves to play the "Sleep" game. She has Zak (or I) lay on the floor and she gets a clean (yes, she goes in the drawer and helps herself) hand towel places it on our back like a blanket and says to the person "Your Name, Sleep", as she does that she's rubbing your back and patting it. If you talk to much or your eyes are open too long she gets in your face to remind you to "sleep". And don't think you can lay on your side or back, that's not "proper" positioning for the "game". She'll make you lay flat. It's the cutest, and funniest thing because she wants to play this "game" for 20+ minutes straight. This is one of Zak's favorite games as he can just lay there and get a good backrub. I, however, am not a fan as laying on my stomach is somewhat uncomfortable at 8 months pregnant on the hard floor.

Jesus Loves You, Yes he Does!
I love watching Zak and Harleigh interact. There's nothing that pulls at a wife's/mother's heartstrings then seeing her husband playing on his hands and knees with his kid. Zak is a very hands-on dad and I probably don't give him enough credit for the blessing he is in both my life and in Harleigh's. Recently, as we started to put Harleigh to bed Zak sings her a song he made up. Harleigh loves it, recites it, and sings it throughout the day. Here it is, I know very simple, but keep in mind his audience is a 1 yr old:
"Daddy loves you, Yes he does....
Mommy loves you, Yes she does...
Baby Brother loves you, Yes he does..."
and so on with other family members (Mimi, Bibi, Gigi, Papa, Landon, Baby Brooks, Aunts, Uncles, etc)
and then he always finishes with -
"Jesus loves you, Yes he does" (Which is Harleigh's cue that it's time for night night.)
It's little things like this that put a smile on my face and make me one happy and proud wife. I love you Zak!

Happy 30th Birthday to my wonderful husband! Today shouldn’t be a shocking day for him, ever since Zak was 25 I’ve been rounding him up to 30! Since I’m 30+ weeks pregnant we won’t be doing anything too crazy this birthday, Zak said he wanted to spend time as a family and have some mini-dates to ring in the big 3-0! Plus, I like to throw surprise parties for random birthdays so they’re not expected. Here are some of my favorite pictures of my wonderful hubby, who I love more and more each day! Happy Birthday, Zak!

Trip to Chicago
Zak and I were able to have a mini vacation to Chicago in October. I was there for a company conference and Zak tagged along. We had unbelieveable accomodations at the Ritz Carlton off of Michigan Ave. so we couldn't pass up the opportunity. We were able to check out Second City (an improv group that started Sat night live), Gino's East Pizzeria (for authentic Chicago style pizza), Architecture boat tour, Navy Pier, The "Bean", Millenium park, and a few others. Below are some pictures of the trip:
Zak enjoying a glass of wine in our suite at the Ritz! I'm 19 weeks pregnant so Zak had to enjoy the adult beverages for the two of us. He didn't complain :) |
View from our room on the 27th floor (across from the Hancock building and next to Michigan Ave "Miracle Mile") |
Mmmm....breakfast at a Chicago favorite "Tempo" this omelette had potatos at the bottom- delicious! |
We were there for the Chicago Marathon, which we checked out |
My model/actor husband always camera ready! |
On the architecture boat tour- I would highly recommend checking this out if you're in Chicago. |

after the boat tour, we stopped by the Navy Pier to see what was going on there. Next time I want to go to Harry Carey's bar for a drink and fries. Looked like a fun sports bar. |
This is the death trap Zak convinced me to go on. It was the largest farris wheel I've been on (and probably the last). |
As my eyes were closed for 99% of the trip Zak took all these pictures. It looked really cool, I probably should have opened my eyes at this point. |
Another picture from the Farris Wheel of death |
Also at the Navy Pier was the botanical gardens that had some really neat fountains |

We went to The Purple Pig for tapas- also delicious! |

Est. 2007
Today marks Zak and my 4 year wedding anniversary. I'm very blessed to have a loving, supportive, thoughtful husband. I know that our son and daughter will be in good hands since having Zak as an example. I love you more and more each day.
I'd also like to give a shout out to both of our parents who have been married for 30+ years. A lot can be said about marriage, however, having an example is always best. Thank you Mom & Dad Bradbury and Kamm!
