Everything Boy!

As we prepare for Baby Boy, Zak and I are realizing how much stuff we have that is pink and purple- not to mention animal print!  I thought we had done a pretty good job when we were preparing for Harleigh in getting a number of gender neutral things, however, we're coming to find we really don't have as much as we thought.  I'm hoping my sister (who is pregnant with her baby #2- gender unknown) has a little girl so we can swap.  What are ways to save at picking up boys clothes, blankets, toys, etc?  Consignment shops, craigslist, check!

Kamm Family Fun Weekend in Asheville

Earlier this month we had a family trip to Asheville with Zak's side of the family.  Due to our travel to Chicago, we got up there a little late, but had a great time seeing the Kamm Clan.  Harleigh enjoyed spending time with her cousins Abby, Ben, Eli, and Ava (or "Via" as Harleigh calls her).  Zak and I were so impressed with how the older cousins took such great care of Harleigh- sharing their toys, showing her the different flowers at the Arboretum, and playing with her on the playset.  Thanks again Kamm family for organizing this fun trip!

Julia's 2nd Birthday

These are about a month late, but better late than never! Harleigh had a great time at Julia's 2nd Swim & Splash birthday party. The weather ended up being cooler than expected so we didn't swim, but we got to play with the at the water table!  Happy belated birthday, Julia (or "Ulia" as Harleigh calls her)!

Est. 2007

Today marks Zak and my 4 year wedding anniversary.  I'm very blessed to have a loving, supportive, thoughtful husband.  I know that our son and daughter will be in good hands since having Zak as an example. I love you more and more each day.

I'd also like to give a shout out to both of our parents who have been married for 30+ years.  A lot can be said about marriage, however, having an example is always best.  Thank you Mom & Dad Bradbury and Kamm!

Pictures to come of our Chicago anniversary!

Guilty Pleasures

I'm dedicating this post to my Top 5 Guilty Pleasures...

1- Reality TV (all of the Real Housewives, Survivor, Amazing Race, Jersey Shore, Most Eligible Dallas) If the show is on Bravo - there's a good chance it's on my DVR.

2- Chocolate- I have always loved a delicious chocolaty treat.  Now that I'm pregnant it's even more of a staple in my diet.

3- Celebrity Gossip Magazines- Nothing is better on a really cold day, or distracts me so much I don't realize I'm at the gym  like a little Brangelina drama! The crossword puzzles in my mag's are the only ones I can complete to- Crazy man, married to Katie Holmes _____ Cruise!

4- Shopping for babies.  I love to shop for Harleigh and baby boy Kamm.  I love finding the perfect cheetah/animal print outfit with accessories for my little girl or the best little athletic gear complete with shoes and hat for my little guy!  This is a guilty pleasure Zak and I do NOT share. (The others, believe it or not, we do! :))

5- Facebook-  I love to see what friends are up to.  It's such a great way to keep in touch, share pictures, etc.
