We had a great time and look forward to many more trips to the beach. Eventually, they should turn into vacations! :)

Coca Cola Beef Brisket

I made this earlier this  month because I wanted an easy crockpot meal.  My family loved it and it super fast and easy!

3 - 4 lb. fresh whole beef brisket
12 oz. jar Heinz chili sauce
1 env. Lipton onion soup mix
12 oz. can Coca Cola Classic (do not use diet)

2-3 potatoes

1 1/2 cups of carrots

1/2 white onion chopped

Mix the onion soup with the chili sauce and then add the Coca Cola. Score the fat side of the brisket. Add potatoes, carrots, and onion. Put brisket in crock pot for 4 to 6 hours (depending on thickness of the meat) until meat is fork tender. Serves 4 to 6.

Mother's Day in Pictures- 2012

This year was a fun Mother's Day for me- celebrating with my family of FOUR! It still is funny for me to say "four". May is a pretty crazy month between my birthday and Mother's Day. Zak, Harleigh, and Lawson stepped up to the plate and I had a great day. First, the best gift I could have asked for was a full night's sleep, Zak took over the nighttime reigns that he does so often and let me sleep through the night! We had breakfast at our family favorite- Skillets, complete with mommy's fave drink, a Latte! Went to church and the greenway and had a pretty relaxed day. Below are some pictures of Mom and The Krazy Kamm Kids!

Lawson 15 weeks

Lawson has made a few discoveries lately- his tongue and his feet! I love that he likes to "bite" down on his tongue. He makes the cutest little facial expressions when he does it. He also likes to pull his feet to his head. But watch out, he's a gassy little guy so you'll want to stay upstream! :) His coordination continues to improve and he has been practicing holding a ball with two hands and bring it to his face. He loves to roll around as well, although he sometimes gets ticked when he's left on his tummy for too long.

Lawson goes to Physical Therapy once a week and has improved his range of motion for his torticollis. The PT is impressed with how strong he's getting and is seeing improvement in his exercises he has to do.

Lawson at 14 weeks

I took Lawson to a doctor's appointment to get his finger cultured and while there they checked his weight,  height, and head circumference.  Here are his stats.

That's a big boy, no wonder my back is killing me!

We'll get the results back to see if he has any infection on his finger (he didn't even cry when they stuck him with the needle), and he has a little wheezing so he's on albuterol and nebulizer for that. Ahh...all the doctor's visits have begun!

Mommy and Me

Harleigh is having some separation anxiety and has been clingy lately. Only to mom though (sorry, Zak), she wants to be held all the time. I hope this passes soon, between breasting and carrying kids, my back is killing me.

Beach Trip 2012- May

We've been enjoying our family trips to the beach this year. Harleigh absolutely loves the ocean and sand. Here are a few pictures from our trip to North Myrtle in May. Family vacations are so much fun!

This is the life!

Week 13- Lawson

This has been a pretty eventful week for my 3 month old. Lawson has started rolling to his sides from his back (sometimes he'll roll to his tummy, but scares himself and will start to cry). He's also started to laugh more this week.  Mommy can back funny faces or noises and Lawson will start to chuckle.  It's not "giggly", is more of a laugh. As always, this has distrupted his sleep so he's been up once a night for the past 2-3 nights after sleeping through the night 2-3 nights in a row!

A Couple That....

dresses alike together, stays together.  I'm not sure everyone knows, but Zak LOVES to have matching outfits with me. He wants our family to have coordinating outfits because he thinks it's "cool". I will sometimes give in and coordinate outfits and it really makes Zak's day.  My sister saw this and sent it, I guess my hubby's onto something:

Welcome Isla Rae Bradbury

Today (June 4th, 2012), Isla Rae Bradbury was born to Joel and Cassie Bradbury.  She weighs 8lbs 3oz, and from what I hear has a head full of hair.  Welcome to the world, Isla! I know your cousins Harleigh and Lawson can't wait to play with you!

We had a wonderful time and look forward to many more family trips to the beach.

Just like Daddy

On Tuesday, Lawson was 3 months old! He is a pretty laid back, chill baby and doesn't get too upset unless he gets accidently hit (by his sister who is still learning how to be "gentle"), when he needs a diaper change, is hungry, or tired. Based on his calm demeanor I think he'll be more like his daddy.

Lawson updates, accomplishments:
- eats between 3-7 oz per feeding, usually the larger feeding in the morning
-sleeps at 9:30am, 12:30pm, 4:30pm, and depending on how he did he may take a quick cat nap around 6pm before bedtime at 7:30pm.
-typically wakes up once at night for a diaper change or snack
-rolls to his sides
-went to physical therapy this month and working on neck exercises to help with the shape of his head-torticollis (needs to stretch and strengthen the right neck muscles)
-loves to chat with mom, dad, and big sister
-started "daycare" with Miss Kristine at the Kamm house and is enjoying having "boy time" with big cousin Landon, and cousin Brooks.
