Today marks our 5 year anniversary for Zak and I. It's hard to believe that in 5 years we've bought a house, had two beautiful kids, had job changes/promotions, bought and sold cars, amazing vacations, weddings, and funerals and so much more. I couldn't have survived without Zak's calm response to pressure and change. The 5th anniversary is usually a gift with wood. We have a tradition of buying gifts for each year (i.e., Year 1 - paper, Year 2- cotton, Year 3- Leather, and so on). Zak always comes up with a creative way to incorporate the "traditional" gift for each year. However, this year we've got it covered, we decided we're going to go on a trip! Plane tickets, made of paper, paper is from trees, trees are made of wood- CHECK!
Since we plan to do a trip, I thought I would give my top 5 trips we've taken together.
Top 5 Trips-
5. Honeymoon- Cabo San Lucas (all-inclusive)
4. Chicago- Ritz Carlton downtown, architecture boat tour, largest faris wheel ride, pregnant with Lawson, Second City Comedy Club, best restaurants
3. Maine- First and Last car ride up and down the east coast, had a great family oriented trip
2.Greece Trip- Venice, Corfu, Crete, Mykonos, Santorini,Olympia
1. Eurotrip- Barcelona, Malta, Naples, Rome, Florence, Cannes- came back pregnant with Harleigh
I'm looking forward to more miles and stamps in our passport as we go on this journey together. Happy 5 years, Zak!
